… grades have been posted, and I made Dean’s List.
WAAAAAHHHHHH-HOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
My personal goal for this academic year is to make Dean’s List for the year; that is, a 3.5 cumulative GPA or better for Fall through Spring quarters, while taking a minimum of 12 credits each quarter. Doing that, as opposed to making the quarter’s List (as I did just now, with a 3.7), would actually go on my transcript, which could be useful for entrance into grad school. It really doesn’t matter in the scheme of life, I do realize, but nevertheless, I’ve set it as a goal.
K. I now return you to your regularly scheduled lives. I just had to do my Happy Dance with somebody! (and Jack is already in bed).
“Thank you”s go to Constantin, Elizabeth and Bruce, for being such terrific and engaging professors. I learned an enormous amount in your courses. And hey, thanks for being so kind with the grades, too, LOL.

It’s so sweet of you to say that, Michael, thank you. So glad you’ve dropped by my blog!
I’m working hard in order that I’ll hopefully attain my eventual goal of working with veterans, but the pats on the back are admittedly nice; they keep one going, at times.
I took the photo just a couple of weeks ago at the Seattle Center’s carousel. Jack’s early-ed class makes it a field trip every year, and for both years he’s been with the class I’ve managed to go along. What a fun day with a group of preschoolers that is, watching them all “ooohh” and “aaahh” over the giant train set-up they have, along with all of the lights and decorations. Fortunately, not a one threw up on the carousel either, LOL.
I’ve enjoyed reading through your site, too, and am gaining much-needed insight. I appreciate your being so open and willing to share your opinions (always a plus, in my book!).
I hope you are well!
