So I’ve taken the plunge. Two sessions into my new life as a UW student was all it took to make me realize that I should get with the program and finally get me one of these things. Will it be a way to stay connected with friends and family? to share what I find most interesting in the news? to vent about the things that bug me? I intend for it to be all that and more (“…she says, knowingly.”). Hopefully, it won’t be a simple exercise in self-absorption, as I think the world has had its fill of that.

I’ll endeavor to make this blog informative, yet casual; useful, but not pedantic, and; relevant to my life, yet interesting to at least, you know… a handful of people. Some links to my assorted interests and passions will show up, as well as a little humor, thrown in for good measure.
